A little about me…
Originally from Northern Ireland, I moved to Scotland in 2015 and have called it my home ever since. I’m currently based near Glasgow but enjoy shooting across Scotland and further afield.
I have long had an interest in photography, initially in travel and location photography while I was an international, professional athlete. However, I quickly found people to be the most interesting subjects and portraits became my focus.
In terms of style, I would describe my photography as couple and “moment” led. Pictures are the most authentic to you as a couple when you are natural and not overly posed, and that’s how I like to capture them.
My editing style is fine-art, which means a timeless and classic style, which isn’t going to age or look dated.
As well as photography, I am a Lead Graphic Designer for a global company and enjoy working in a fast-paced and exciting industry.
And if you are a kit geek I shoot with a pair of Sony A7IV cameras and a mix of Sony prime lenses.
I’m excited to have officially launched Hall Photography in 2022. Hall Photography allows me to focus on working with couples and capturing authentic, intimate moments. For that reason I specialise in elopements and micro/mini-weddings (typically up to about 50 people or so). I also enjoy shooting larger weddings occasionally!
I personally eloped in 2020, during the uncertainties of an ongoing pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed it, with the day centred on my wife and I as a couple. I can’t recommend small, intimate weddings enough - they allow you to focus on your love and what makes you unique as a couple.
